Lecturing for the Arts Society NADFAS
I began lecturing in Japanese Woodcut for the Arts Society up and down the country- starting with Sherborne Arts Society in Dorset with two lectures and a practical demonstration.
Ekimono -Japanese Scrolls
I made Japanese scrolls with my Advanced Japanese Woodcut students at Morley College. They were exhibited in the Bawden cases.
Printmakers Council
'Tangled' was selected for the Printmakers Council exhibition "Thinking for Printing" shown at Bankside Gallery. 'Tangled' is a woodcut cut from hō - magnolia and printed using sumi ink on Suramine paper. The middle section shows the back of the print where the ink has bled through the paper.
Royal Academy Summer Exhibition
'Tangled' was also selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in the Print room curated by Katherine Jones ARA
International Printmaking Biennenial
'Asemic Writing' was selected for 11th International Printmaking Biennenial of Douro, Portugal and accepted for inclusion in their print collection.

Crowood Press
I was commissioned by Crowood Press to write a book on Japanese Woodcut at the beginning of 2022. I finished my book a year and a half later it's called "Japanese Woodcut: Traditional techniques and Contemporary Practice". Due out in January 2024. It covers the history of Japanese Woodcut, materials and equipment,how to get started through to advanced techniques and finishes with a section on Contemporary practitioners from around the world.
The advance copy for my book came just before Christmas.
